What this tool does

How to use it
Check your declarations page for Coverage D (Loss of Use / ALE). Enter your dwelling coverage and the ALE percentage (usually 20-30%). Then enter your expected monthly costs for housing and meals, along with your normal monthly food budget. The planner shows the gap and how long your coverage holds.
